It was a sold-out crowd for the event that included a drawing to choose a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes (a $700 value) from the San Francisco Saks 5th Avenue store. A big thank you to Kay Pitman (left in this photo) and the entire NEW team for making it a successful and fun event. What an amazing group of women!

It was a standing-room-only crowd, as175 attended the fun event in the 8th floor shoe salon at Saks in NYC. As always, Saks offered a classy atmosphere and delectable treats, including chocolate stilettos (wow, chocolate and shoes as one, who could ask for more?!) Lynette showed new spring shoe trends that offer clues to “Loving the Shoes You’re In!”

Two nights later it was an encore “Loving the Shoes You’re In” event at Saks in Raleigh, as the Triangle Area United Way Women’s Leadership Council (UWLC) hosted a delightful evening, this time with red candy stilettos on top of mini cupcakes!

Ron and I attended a stimulating forum at the White House hosted by Dr. Laura Lederer, Senior Director for Trafficking of Persons, U.S. Department of State. We were encouraged to learn that our campaign “StopChildTraffickingNow.org” is historic in many ways.
