For the 2nd night in a row made some peach pie for @pastorronlewis and I while we burn the midnight oil on a HUGE writing project for our upcoming 9/11 20th Anniversary @everynationnyc. But this time I paused with every delectable bite, to think about the amazing men and women featured in this upcoming book, and their powerful stories of lives transformed out of the ashes of 9/11. Rigorous work made richer when taking a moment to reflect, which I don’t often do. And the pie, oh yes, loved every bite of summer sweetness. #workfromhomelife

Over 25 years ago, 4 grown girlfriends (@kimaford @dk_barker @tonileefowler and I) decided our moms needed to be friends.The moms clicked and shared many birthdays and sweet friendship.This pic is from 5 yrs ago when we all got together at Toni’s w sisters, daughters, granddaughters.

2 of the moms are now in heaven, sweet Linda went yesterday and today she celebrates her 80th b’day with JESUS!! I have loved all these moms, reminded of how each generation needs the one prior to show us how to live, love the Lord, and stay the course til the finish line of heaven.

I was with Linda just a little over a year ago (2nd pic) and truly adore this woman of God who has so valiantly raised my dearest @tonileefowler and @thankful_kimmie_g along with so many grandchildren and others assigned by the Lord.

We ache to let her go, but know our grand reunion will be the beginning of more JOY and celebration than eye has seen or ear has heard.

Thank you Lord, for friendships that go on FOREVER! We love you Fowler and Goodman families!
