Last night I listened to a song a friend had emailed me the day before, and the moment I was listening, I looked up to our upper living room window and right there beaming as if it was a spotlight meant to shine only for my sake, was the most glorious, bright, full moon, perfectly centered in the window, glowing through the tops of the swaying pine trees.

It was as if the moon Maker was beaming down His light on my heart in that moment, while I listened to the words from the song by Matt Redman, “You Never Let Go”…

Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

I can affirm this sense of not being let go of, through our fiery trial of late as a family, in the wee hours of the morning when we wake up desperate for miracles, pray as if life counts on it (because right now it does), and cling to the only Rock we know.

Yes, indeed, He never lets go.

I looked up and there it was!

I looked up and there it was!

For 5 minutes it kept getting brighter and brighter, just like His faithfulness!
